Shining light on solar.

We are on borrowed time.

Fossil fuels are depleting, leaving behind pollution, an unstable electric grid, and fragile economies that rise and fall with oil prices. This outdated energy system puts an incredible strain on our country and our state.

But there is a better way.

Sure as the sun rises each day, renewable energy offers a limitless, clean, and reliable solution. By harnessing its power at utility scale, we can find stability and protect the earth for future generations. The technology is here. We know it works. So, what are we waiting for? It’s time to turn toward the light and power a sustainable tomorrow.

Ohio ranks 13th in the nation for solar power capacity and currently boasts 4,716 megawatts of installed solar energy generation, with thousands more already approved by the Ohio Power Siting Board. This total generation potential could provide electricity for nearly one million Ohio households!

The cost of solar infrastructure has also dropped drastically over the last decade, so continuing to invest in this affordable resource will lower electricity expenses by empowering Ohio to source energy locally as well as create well-paying jobs for Ohioans that cannot be outsourced.
